A comprehensive 1 hour session on “Holistic approach to diabetes care” was organized by ‘Global associations of physicians of Indian Origin’ (GAPIO) at 4:00 PM IST on Friday, 6th January, 2023 on a digital platform through zoom.
Reputed well known speakers Dr. Kavita Gupta, Director, Head Dept. of Dietetics, Sunil’s Diabetes care and research centre, Nagpur gave her talk on “Nutritional care in Diabetes – Reversal a Reality” and Dr. Shubhda Bhanot, Chief diabetes educator, Max Healthcare, Consultant Motherhood Hospital, Gurgaon gave her talk on “Functional foods in diabetes“. Dr. Haritha Shyam, Chief Dietician, Apollo Hospitals, Hyderabad has moderated the session.
Dr. Anita Jatana, Consultant Dietetics, Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi has given the introductory remarks and welcome the speakers and moderator.
The session was followed by 10 minutes question and answer round.
