A comprehensive 1 hour session on “Role of Probiotics and Prebiotics in Pediatrics” was organized by ‘Global associations of physicians of Indian Origin’ (GAPIO) in collaboration with Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP) at 7:00 PM IST on Saturday, 24th September, 2022 on a digital platform through zoom.
Reputed well known speakers Dr. Dhanasekhar, Pediatric Gastroenterologist at Apollo Children’s Hospital, Chennai has delivered a talk on “Probiotics – The good, bad & ugly in pediatrics” and Dr. Smita Malhotra, Pediatric Gastroenterologist from Apollo Hospitals, Delhi, India has delivered a talk on ‘NAFLD in Children’.
Dr. Sajan Agarwal, Consultant Pediatric Gastroenterologist at Neoclinic Children Hospital and at SR Kalla Gastro Hospital, Jaipur has moderated the session and Dr. Somashekhar, Consultant, Pediatric GI & Liver, Gleneagles Global Hospitals, Chennai was the Chairperson during the session.
The session was followed by 10 minutes question and answer round.
